2020 Travel Diary
In February 2020, I visited Bharatpur - Keoladeo Ghana national park - for bird photography, on a toehold tour led by Harsha Narasimhamurthy. We stayed at Birder’s Inn next to the park. Key highlights were Sarus Cranes, along with many other birds.
We also managed to visit the Chambal valley, where we photographed the endangered Indian Skimmers. There was a glimpse of the Indian river dolphin, but could not capture it on camera!
Rest of 2020 was spent in mostly in Covid lockdown.
